Saffron foods have been in the catering business for the last seven years. Their success story has been scripted by the hardworking husband wife team who has the advantage of having worked in the hotel industry.

Shweta has worked with Hyatt Regency and the Claridges looking after PR and events.

Rohit has had hands-on experience with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage outlets at The Park, The Maurya Sheraton and the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. He played a very vital role in setting up "Rajmahal Shin Miyako"- An Indian, Japanese and Chinese restaurant in South Delhi.

Along with his vast experience he acquired numerous skills, which gave him the confidence to start his venture. Actually, it was his passion for cooking which proved the real clincher. His love for good food made him try all new restaurants. It was then he realized that were not too many places in Delhi specializing in “Koshur” Kashmiri pundit food.

That’s how he felt inspired to start his own catering unit. Armed with 10 years of experience in the hotel industry and the competent support of his wife he started in a small way as a take away joint.
